We call on the UK government & the EU to guarantee the rights of EU citizens in the UK

At, we appreciate that we all have different views when it comes to Brexit but we respect that the UK did indeed vote for Brexit and we are adapting to that. Our issue however is the uncertainty associated with Brexit.

A good proportion of our fitters are indeed EU nationals. Whilst we haven't seen a mass exodus of our fitters back to their home countries, we have lost several fitters already but our issues are in recruitment.

We have seen a fall in general recruitment numbers but have seen a massive drop in EU applications and we are struggling to recruit in several key markets.

We were excited that a deal would have been reached over the last few days however that seems to no longer be the case. Therefore we call on both Theresa May's government and the EU to quickly aim to resolve this issue as a matter of priority. Uncertainty is not good for anyone and we reject using people are bargaining chips.

As always, we are keen to hear from all applicants for all people who have the right to work in the UK and look forward to this issue being resolved as quickly as possible.
