A quick guide to winning more work. 

1) Be quick. 
Customers expect a quick response. Use your smart phone to get emails. On average a quote is sent to a customer just three hours after they make their initial request. Responding three days after a request is made will rarely lead to a successful bid. 

2) Price realistically.
Take a look at the price of the furniture online. See how much the furniture costs and price realistically. IKEA currently charge 20% plus £25. If it is a big request consider offering your day rate if you have one. 

3) Be flexible.
If you can't attend at the customer's preferred date then suggest the nearest available slot you have when you sent your quote. Weekends and evenings will always be most popular.
